Kubernetes Community Day Kochi 2026 Brings the Cloud-Native Community Together in Kerala

Kubernetes Community Day Kochi 2026 is set to take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, bringing the cloud-native community together for a full day of learning, sharing, and meaningful conversations in Kochi, Kerala.

The event will be held at Holiday Inn Cochin, located along the National Highway Bypass, and will run from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM (GMT+8). This is an in-person, community-led conference organized by CNCG Kochi (Cloud Native Community Group Kochi), the official CNCF-aligned cloud-native chapter in Kochi, focused on in-person, community-driven meetups and events.

A practitioner-first Kubernetes event

Kubernetes Community Days are known for their strong focus on real-world usage rather than marketing slides or vendor-driven content. KCD Kochi 2026 continues that tradition by bringing together developers, SREs, platform engineers, and cloud-native practitioners who work with Kubernetes in production environments.

Attendees can expect practical talks, honest case studies, and open discussions around what works, what breaks, and what teams learn while running Kubernetes and CNCF technologies at scale.

Call for Speakers now open

The Call for Speakers (CfS) for KCD Kochi 2026 is officially open, and the organizing team is inviting proposals from the community.

Submit your talk proposal here: https://sessionize.com/kcd-kochi/

Info

Call closes at 11:59 PM, 28 Feb 2026

The focus is on talks that go beyond theory and highlight hands-on experience, production challenges, lessons learned, and practical outcomes.

Topics of interest include

Kubernetes in production, including scaling, reliability, and operations
Platform engineering and developer experience
Observability, security, and cost optimization
GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
Service meshes, networking, and storage
AI and ML workloads running on Kubernetes
Case studies, failures, and real-world learnings

If you are running Kubernetes clusters, building internal platforms, improving reliability, or experimenting with CNCF projects, this is a great opportunity to share your experience with the wider community.

Why KCD Kochi matters

Kochi has been steadily growing as an active cloud-native and open-source hub in South India. KCD Kochi reflects that growth by providing a platform for local and international speakers to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas.

Beyond the talks, Kubernetes Community Day Kochi is also about hallway conversations, networking, and building long-term connections within the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Stay connected

Kubernetes Community Day Kochi 2026 is a community-driven, practitioner-focused event. Whether you are new to Kubernetes or deeply involved in platform engineering, this is an event worth attending.

See you in Kochi this April.
